Bernese Mountain Dog and German Shepherd Dog Dogs Available for Adoption in Woolwich, Maine

Butter is a handsome gentleman who was rescued from a shelter in AL. He's a gentle giant who is estimated to be about 11 months old and we think he is a Bernese Mountain Dog/German Shepherd mix. He's a big boy weighing in at around 70 lbs and, with his long hair, he'll need a family committed to giving him regular grooming. He walks well on leash and waits to potty outside at the shelter, so we think he is likely potty trained, although we always expect a few accidents when in a new home. He's good with dogs and was very respectful of the cat during his cat test so we believe he will do fine with cats given slow and proper introductions. He's a sweet boy who just wants to be loved and part of a family. He's currently in AL but we hope to bring him to Maine in mid-May.
