DESCRIPTION
Liberty is a female Belgian Malinois, about 18 months old, who bonds deeply - she is truly a one-person dog, and she is looking for that one person to be her whole world. She received five weeks of formal obedience training as a puppy and knows all her basic commands and leash work. She is housebroken and crate trained, up to date on her vaccinations including rabies, spayed, and heartworm negative per her last veterinarian visit on 7/16/26. She receives monthly flea and tick and heartworm preventative medications. Liberty is extremely athletic and loves outdoor activities such as hikes and long walks. She has high food drive, which makes training with her a joy, and she occasionally enjoys chewing on rubber toys. She rides well in a car, free or within a crate - and for all her athleticism, she is just as capable of enjoying quiet leisure time. What Liberty needs most is the right setting. She is fearful when around strangers and nervous in public, so she will do best in a calm, quiet home with a single person who will let her build trust at her own pace - a homebody's dog, happiest in familiar surroundings with her one person rather than out in busy public places. In return, she will give that person her complete devotion. Liberty is currently fostered in Jackson, GA.
