Meet Nova!

Nova is a beautiful Malinois girl with an incredibly smart mind and a big personality to match! She is eager to learn, picks things up quickly, and thrives with structure, consistency, and someone who enjoys keeping her brilliant brain busy.

One of Nova’s favorite things? Other dogs! She gets along wonderfully with her canine friends and truly enjoys their company.

Nova does have some special needs when it comes to her people. She can be very particular and cautious around men, so she is looking for a female-only home, or an adopter with solid experience with Malinois, working breeds, and behavior-focused training. Her ideal person will understand her boundaries, be patient with her, and be committed to helping her continue building confidence through positive, consistent training.

Nova also has a little piece of her past that makes her unique. She previously suffered from fly bites that damaged the tips of her ears, leaving her with some permanent changes to her ears. Despite her rough history, Nova is ready to put the past behind her and find the person who will love and appreciate her exactly as she is.

With the right home, continued training, structure, and someone who understands her breed and personality, Nova has so much potential to be an incredible companion and loyal best friend.

Nova is looking for:
A female-only home OR an experienced Malinois/working-breed handler
Someone committed to ongoing training and structure
Someone who will respect her boundaries and let trust develop at her pace
A home that understands the needs and energy of a Malinois
