Meet Lark.



We've learned so much more about this beautiful girl, and every update makes us want to get her OUT of the shelter even more.

Lark is showing us that she is a sweet, loving girl who simply wants a person of her own.



And this girl LOVES to give hugs.



She's friendly, dog neutral, good with cats, and has a lower drive than you might expect from a young Malinois.



She is the kind of dog who seems to really want that connection with her person — the attention, the affection, the closeness. She wants someone she can love and trust.



She's looking for her person.



Someone who will give her a safe place to land.



Someone who will let her decompress.



Someone who will give her the time and patience to figure out what life is supposed to feel like outside of a shelter.



And just look at her — Lark is looking fantastic.



She has already shown everyone how wonderful she can be. Now we need to give her the opportunity to truly relax, settle in, and show us who she is when she isn't surrounded by the stress of a shelter environment.



It could be the difference between continuing to wait behind kennel doors and finally getting to experience a soft bed, a routine, a yard, a couch, a person to love, and a place she can finally call safe.



Her puppies have been given their chance.

MAD is an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our mailing address is in Michigan, however, our dogs are in private foster homes across the continental US. The state location of each dog is posted with the name of the pet in the title description. We do not disclose exact location of the dogs for the safety of our foster homes and the dogs. If you are located within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick up the pet. For greater distances, MAD does offer transport assistance for up to 350 miles for the adopter, however transport is primarily on the responsibility of the adopter.
