Violet is a beautiful, affectionate girl who bonds deeply with her people and is a total love bug when she feels secure. She walks well on leash, enjoys being outdoors, and loves running and spending time with her person.

Violet needs an experienced, committed home where someone is around more often and willing to continue working with her training. She struggles when left alone and has a history of escaping enclosures. A trainer has recommended that only a Ruffland (hard-sided) kennel be used for her - wire kennels are not appropriate for Violet.

With the right, experienced dog owner, Violet can live with other dogs. Careful introductions are essential, and the right dog companion may actually help reduce her anxiety. Any interested adopter with a dog will be required to bring their dog in for a meet-and-greet to ensure a good match.

Violet can be reactive toward unfamiliar dogs and people in stressful situations, but she is calm, affectionate, and loving with those she knows. She does best with adults or older teens, a structured routine, and consistent management.

She eats a high-protein, low-carb diet (Next Level brand), is mostly housebroken, and lives indoors. Violet thrives with supervision, stability, and a confident handler who understands her needs.
