This sweet, playful 3 year old shepherd mix is a natural guardian with a heart of gold. She is loyal, affectionate, and happiest when she has room to roam and a family to watch over.

She absolutely loves people and has an incredibly sweet disposition. She grew up alongside kids and has always shown remarkable patience and tolerance. She also loves playing with other dogs and has plenty of puppy energy left!

True to her guardian instincts, she is protective of her family and property. Because she was raised primarily off leash on small farms and mountain hikes, she struggles with leash reactivity toward unfamiliar dogs approaching her or passing by. She would thrive with someone who understands guardian breeds, has space for her to explore, and is willing to work with her on leash training.

The Belgian Shepherd Malinois is a versatile and intelligent working dog breed known for its agility, loyalty, and protective nature. Originating from Belgium, these medium-sized dogs have a distinctive short coat in shades of fawn with a black mask. Malinois excel in various roles such as military, police, search and rescue, and as loyal family companions. With proper training and socialization, the Belgian Shepherd Malinois thrives on mental stimulation and physical activity to channel its high energy levels effectively.
