Josie - Beagle Dog for Adoption in Weatherford, Texas

Meet Josie the beagle. She is very much a beagley beagle, who is great at being a beagle. :-) Josie is around 25 pounds and is a healthy dog.
She and her brother, Hank, are being rehomed due to no fault of their own. We would like Josie to go to a home that understands this breed. Josie is smarter than most humans, stubborn, food-motivated, curious, and capable of getting into an unbelievable amount of mischief when given the slightest opportunity. She is also sweet and loving and would love her own family. Josie does well with other dogs and is housebroken. She would do best with structure and attention.

The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
