Otis - Beagle Dog for Adoption in Stuarts Draft, Virginia

Otis spent several months in a rural shelter and was so sad and stressed. We pulled him and he is starting to come to life and be the happy sweet dog he should have always been.
Best guess given the poor shape he was in is he was a hunting dog that was kept outside and never knew the comfort and joy of being in a home and part of a family.

He really enjoys the company of other dogs and comes to life when they are around. He adores going for walks.
He has learned to use the doggie door to go in and out and seems to be house trained in his foster home.

He is about 7 or so and weighs 25 pounds. He is completely vetted and had a dental which he desperately needed.

He is an absolute joy and his foster mom adores this sweet older guy.
We would really like him to have at least one other doggie companion and someone who will continue to take him for walks and spoil him.
