Meet Copper - Your Loyal Little Shadow!

Copper is a 10-year-old Beagle with a heart as big as his soulful eyes. This sweet boy,
with his classic white coat and charming brown spots, is the definition of a devoted companion. At just 32 lbs, he's the perfect size for any family. Wherever you go, Copper will be happiest right by your side--he's truly content just being close to his person.

After spending his entire life with his previous owner who loved him dearly, Copper found his way to BarkVille Dog Rescue when his owner had to move into a retirement community that couldn't accommodate pets. It's been a big transition, but Copper has handled it with quiet grace and resilience.

This sweet boy is perfectly house trained, wonderful with both people and other dogs, and brings a calm, easygoing presence to any home. Copper enjoys leisurely walks, car rides, and simple outings, but he's just as happy curling up next to you for a cozy afternoon!

Copper does have a bit of separation anxiety, but it's well-managed with and he continues to thrive with routine and love. He would love a person or family who is retired, works from home, or is just home regularly. If you're looking for a loyal, low-key companion who will be your constant sidekick and best friend, Copper may just be your perfect match.

BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.

The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs.
