Meet Ghost, a 5-year-old, 32-pound beagle mix with classic good looks, soulful eyes and those wonderfully floppy beagle ears!

Ghost recently came to Canine Collective when a change in his family's circumstances meant they could no longer care for him. Having lived in a home, Ghost already knows what it's like to be part of a family. His former owner tells us that he is good with kids and other animals, making him a great candidate for many different kinds of homes.

Ghost also earned good marks on his first outing with one of our volunteers. He was a good boy riding to the vet, sharing the trip with fellow pups Huck and Finn, and was easy to handle on a slip lead. He walked nicely without much pulling-pretty impressive for a beagle! And yes, Ghost has that unmistakable beagle voice and isn't afraid to use it when he has something to say.At 5 years old, Ghost is past the puppy stage but still has plenty of years of adventures ahead of him. He's a handsome, manageable-sized guy who has already shown us that he can take new people and new experiences in stride.
