Hi! My name is Walter.
One thing you should know about me... I LOVE FOOD. Dinner time is my favorite part of the day! If you're cooking or eating, there's a very good chance I'll be sitting nearby, hoping you accidentally drop something. These days, one of my favorite things is curling up next to people. I'm still working on a few things, though. Loud noises can make me nervous.

I love running full speed around the yard, sniffing every blade of grass, barking at things only I can hear, getting neck scratches, belly rubs, and especially booty scratches. I also love playing with my beagle friends. They've been teaching me how to play nicely, not bite too hard, and I absolutely LOVE being chased.

Like any young dog still learning, I have my moments. I occasionally have accidents in the house, but I'm getting much better about going outside. What I'm really looking for is someone who understands that I didn't get a normal start in life. I'll probably be shy when we first meet. I may need a little time before I trust you. But if you're patient, kind, and let me move at my own pace, you'll get to meet the real Walter - a goofy, sweet, cuddly, food-loving beagle who just wants to be loved

My Home's Requirements: Another friendly dog in the home is required. I thrive with a canine companion by my side!
