Joy is currently on a big adventure and won't be cruising into the adoption center for about a week. We don't know a ton about this traveling buddy just yet, but that's all part of the fun-we get to learn about them right alongside you!

As they make their way here, we'll share any little tidbits the Best Friends team notices. And once Joy arrives and settles in, we'll discover even more about their personality, preferences, and all the adorable quirks that make them one-of-a-kind.

The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
