Hello. My name is Bastion. I am currently having a great time in my foster home, but it's my dream to have a family of my very own.

I just love humans. They give the best pets and cuddles and snuggles. They're also pretty good at playing with me. When I meet someone, I get so excited that I jump up to meet them. And as soon as they start petting me, I roll onto my back so I can get some belly rubs. Are you looking for a sweet and affectionate beagle to share your life? Look no further because I am the epitome of fur love!

Besides my natural lovable nature, I really enjoy playing with my toys. If you want to play with me and toss the toy, that would be great! We can play together all day. Of course, if you are otherwise occupied, I'm more than content to play with my toys by myself. I toss it in the air, I try to catch it, again and again - this is such a blast! I often run around the house carrying a toy in my mouth.

You never know when the opportunity for play presents itself. Every day my foster mom gives me a dental chew. Yes, I do eventually do the chewing thing and eat it, but beforehand I must play with the chew. Again, I toss it and catch it. I love this game. After a bit, I am ready to chill and chew.

You probably have figured out by now that I am quite a sociable boy. I don't necessarily need to be attached to my humans, but I do like to know they are nearby. If my foster parents are busy with work or other household chores, I am content to just nap in my dog bed, so long as I know where they are. My new home should have someone home most of the time because I tend to get very lonely on my own.

Some things you may be interested in knowing about me are: I am making great progress on my house training; I know the commands "sit," "down," "stay," and "come"; and I have guard dog experience. Okay, so maybe my guard dog skills are not top notch, but I'm great at guarding the door when my human is in the shower. I am dedicated and will not leave until the person is out of the shower.
