Sally is a 2-year-old, 17-pound female Beagle mix who is working on gaining a little more weight. Shes a curious, playful girl with so much love to give, and shes coming out of her shell more every day!
Sally loves being near her people and will happily follow you around to see what youre up to. She even enjoys going to work with her human! Because she loves being part of the action, Sally would especially enjoy a home where someone works from home or isnt away for long periods of time.
Sally knows that potty happens outside when kept on a consistent schedule and her humans are paying attention to her cues. If she doesnt get outside when she needs to, she may have an accident. She already knows how to sit for treats and meals and is continuing to work on her doggy manners. Shes learning to walk nicely on a leash, that four paws stay on the floor when greeting people, and that counters are for humans—not curious pups!
So far, Sally hasnt met a human or dog she didnt get along with. She has enjoyed meeting dogs both bigger and smaller than she is and approaches new things with playful curiosity.
At bedtime, Sally will sleep in her crate when it is in the bedroom with her human. Being close to her people helps her feel comfortable and settled.
Sally is an affectionate little shadow who wants to be part of whatever her humans are doing. Shes learning more every day and would love a family ready to continue showing her the ropes while enjoying all the love and attention she has to give.

If you would like to be considered as a potential adopter for one of our great dogs, please go to our website- (SEE PINNED POST) and submit an application. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home.
Current Adoption Fees Are:
$425+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$375+tax for ages 4-7
$275+tax for ages 8 and up

The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
