Liberty is a shy, gentle beagle who is slowly learning that not everything is scary. While still very cautious, she is starting to show moments of curiosity and soft interest in her surroundings.
She can be reserved with new people and situations and may need time to feel safe before interacting. Liberty will thrive in a calm, structured home where she is given space to adjust without pressure.
She is not yet a confident or outgoing dog, but she is making progress at her own pace. With patience and understanding, Liberty has the potential to blossom into a sweet and trusting companion.

Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
