Woodle is a lovely mature girl with a sweet personality and a very gentle nature. She is friendly with other dogs and has absolutely no issues with children. She is currently living happily with two other dogs — one younger and one older — and settled in with them almost immediately.

Sadly, Woodle’s owner passed away, and she ended up in a shelter. Fortunately, she is now enjoying life in her foster home and has shown everyone what a wonderful companion she can be.

Woodle definitely has a personality of her own! She often tries to give one of her foster brothers a daily licking-bath — much to his disapproval!

Around the house, Woodle loves to follow her foster mom from room to room. She enjoys attention and will happily cuddle up beside you on the couch. Be prepared — she will expect plenty of rubs and affection!

Being close to her people and feeling like part of the family will be very important to Woodle. She is looking for a home where she will be loved, included and treated as a true family member.

As a Beagle, Woodle is very much a “stop and smell the roses” kind of girl! She is a bit of a slow walker because there are simply too many interesting smells to investigate. She likes to take her time so she doesn't miss anything. Woodle came to us overweight, but she has already lost a little weight. Continuing with regular exercise and portion control will help her reach and maintain a healthier weight.

Woodle would love a home where she can enjoy companionship, affection and the comforts of family life. She can happily live with another friendly dog.
