DESCRIPTION
Meet Regan, the adorable 28pound beagle mix who is ready to steal your heart, and probably your pillow. This sweet girl had a tough start, arriving at a rural Colorado shelter shut down, frightened, and at risk of euthanasia. Once she joined our program, Regan quickly discovered that humans are pretty wonderful, and she has blossomed into a confident, affectionate companion.
Regan is thriving in her foster home, where her foster parents describe her as the "absolute best" girl. She gets along beautifully with cats and other dogs, loves people, and has impeccable house manners with no accidents. She's crate trained, though she'd happily trade the crate for a spot next to you at night.
She enjoys her dog and cat friends, adores attention, and is ready for a meetandgreet with her future family. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle, and loving companion, Regan may be your perfect match.
Fill out an adoption interest form and let us introduce you to your new forever best friend.
ABOUT: BEAGLE DOG BREED
The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
