JACKIE
Beagle, Terrier
🇺🇸
Elk Grove, California
October 20th
female, small, young
DESCRIPTION
Jackie is a tri-colored beagle mix, estimated to be 3 - 5 years old. She weighs 17 pounds. She appears to be a beagle and Jack Russell Terrier mix, or a Jack-a-Bee. She was found as a stray in Sacramento County. After no response to a post, the finder turned her over to a local shelter, which contacted our rescue. Because Jackie was stressed at the shelter, we took her.
Jackie is a very cute and sweet girl who likes to be close, but also a feisty pogo stick. She enjoys being close to someone, including behind or next to someone or behind a head on the sofa. Jackie likes to sleep on the bed and will crawl under the covers to snuggle.
She walks well on the leash, and rides fine in the car. She gets very excited over food, which is when her energy shows. She can be a pogo stick, jumping up and down for food or a treat. Suddenly, you look and Jackie is 4 feet in the air! She also likes to stand on her two hind legs.
Jackie is a fun, active dog who would do very well with a family who would like an active canine companion. She also does well with dogs, although will chase cats if given the chance. If you would like to adopt Jackie, please contact Eva at 916-803-4935 or norcalbeagles@gmail.com.
