Abigail is about 4 months old (DOB 7/1/26), spayed, up-to-date on vaccines. She is described by her owner as a beagle mix who is easy-going, friendly, happy, goofy. She loves attention and is very sweet and affectionate. Abigail is a great dog but unfortunately the resident senior Chihuahua is not a fan of sharing the house and has bit Abigail multiple times.
She travels well in the car, has been exposed to crate training (but not fully crate trained), is house broken, loves to walk, loves to chew on things, and plays with the neighbor's dogs daily! She has not been around cats, but is good with kids 3+ years old (has not been around younger kids). She will lick kids' faces and wag her tail. She can be a little hesitant of new people at first but warms up when the adults approach her.
While we are sad that she needs to be rehomed, we appreciate her owner's dedication in ensuring the senior dog remains in the home he has known and recognizes that it is best for Abigail if she gets a new home with people (and maybe other dogs) that love her without biting her :-).
