You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Felix is SO happy when his foster mom or dad gets home from work and he LOVES to cuddle! Peope make his little doggy heart sing. He is doing well with the other dogs in his home, although he seems to respond to their behavior with similar behavior, and he may do better with females. Felix does appear to have a prey drive judging by how he reacts to squirrels and rabbits. We don't know how he might be with cats. His house training has been marvelous and he is very crate trained, going to his crate whenever asked. Although we are estimating him to have a pretty high energy level, he has been crated for up to 8 hours when his foster family has been at work, and appeared to tolerate it just fine. Felix's leash skills are average and he does pull when he's excited. He is definitely food motivated and will sit or go to his crate for a treat. Felix is heartworm positive but we are planning for him to transport from Louisiana after his injections, so he will be just starting his activity restriction. We think the most important thing for Felix's forever home will be affectionate people who can be patient as he learns to fit in.
