Beagle and Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Meet Holly — a sweet two-year-old beagle/terrier mix who's discovering what it means to have a family, and she's loving this new life!

Holly lives for the outdoors. She can spend hours outside! She trots confidently through the backyard, nose to the ground and tail in the air. GIve her a sunny patch of grass and she's in heaven — soaking up every warm ray while the world goes by. She loves a good sniff session, chasing her foster dog sister, and bounces between "adventurous explorer" and "professional napper" with impressive speed.

She does well in her crate, and is getting straight A's in potty training! She loves going for walks but when there is a lot to look at or sniff, she needs a moment.

She's still putting on weight as she settles in, but her spirit has never been in short supply. Holly is brave and curious, ready to investigate anything new — and equally ready to curl up beside you once the day's adventures are done. She's learning that people are safe, and she is so worth the wait.

Holly is estimated to be 2 years old and 22 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
