Beagle and Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in Cincinnati, Ohio

SOFIA is a stunning little red beagle mix girl looking for a home. She's a petite 19 pound 1 year old girl. She looks much bigger in photos but she's really a tiny little thing. We photographed her next to a folding chair to show just how petite she is. Our best guess on breed is a beagle/dachshund mix, plus something to give her a slightly longer coat. Little Sofia is friendly and affectionate and loves people, other dogs, toys and treats. She craves attention. She's a little timid in new surroundings but warms up quickly, especially if you have some nice stinky treats. She needs a physically-fenced yard to keep her from following her beagle nose into trouble. She's best suited to a home where she will have a fun and friendly dog to hang out with. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
