HAROLD

Beagle, Basset Hound
🇺🇸
Latrobe, Pennsylvania
April 15th
male, medium, young

DESCRIPTION

Meet Harold, a 1½-year-old male Beagle/Basset Hound mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This happy, easygoing guy absolutely loves people and thrives on attention. He’ll happily lean right up against you to soak in all the pets he can get, making him the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an affectionate, close-by buddy. Harold always seems to have a smile on his face, especially when he’s spending time with his people or heading out on a new adventure.

True to his Beagle/Basset roots, Harold’s nose is always to the ground when he’s outside—he loves taking in all the sights and (especially) smells around him! Walks are one of his favorite activities, but he is a strong boy and does tend to pull on the leash. Because of this, potential adopters should plan to take him for a test walk to make sure they’re comfortable handling his strength and helping him continue to work on his leash manners.

Harold is also quite the talker! He loves to “chat” and let you know what’s on his mind, which just adds to his charming and entertaining personality. Whether he’s greeting you, asking for attention, or just joining in on the conversation, his voice is sure to make you smile.

Smart, eager to please, and full of love, Harold is ready to find a home that will embrace all of his fun, hound-dog quirks. With a little guidance, plenty of exercise, and lots of affection, he’s going to make a loyal, joyful, and wonderfully entertaining companion.
