What Makes Vixen So Special?
Vixen absolutely LOVES her toys, yummy treats, belly rubs, and spending time with her favourite people! She's a playful little girl who enjoys having fun but also appreciates some good old-fashioned love and attention.

She's fantastic on car rides, making her a wonderful little adventure buddy! Vixen can be a little vocal when other dogs are around, but hey, she's part hound, and sometimes she's just got something to say! She's also very treat motivated, which is a wonderful bonus when it comes to training.

Vixen would love a family who will give her plenty of affection, playtime, daily walks, and a cozy place to curl up at the end of the day. Because of her longer back and shorter legs, her future family should be mindful of excessive jumping and help her maintain a healthy weight.

Why Choose Vixen?
Because who wouldn't want a sweet, silly, short-legged little companion who loves toys, treats, belly rubs, and being part of the family?

The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.

The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
