Bobo is nine years old, fifty-five pounds, and has spent the last four and a half years as a beloved family dog. He's been great around kids of every age, and he's the type to walk right up to a stranger and assume they're a friend he hasn't met yet.

Bobo does best with other dogs once he's had a minute to size them up. He's food motivated in the best way, especially for milk bones, and his favorite toy is one of those popcorn poppers kids push around the yard. He's fully house trained and does fine home alone for stretches at a time.

He's a basset hound built like a basset hound but with the energy of something else entirely- he needs a fenced yard or a leash he can't talk his way out of, because given the chance he will go explore and take his sweet time coming back- but can be convinced to return if there are cookies involved.

Ask him what he wants out of life and the answer is pretty much just the same as everyone else's- air conditioning, a good snack, and some people who are obsessed with him.
