Some dogs just make you smile — and Blossom is definitely one of them.

Blossom is a 5-year-old Basset Hound mix weighing about 36 pounds, and she has the perfect combination of goofy charm and laid-back companionship. With her short little legs, soulful eyes, and signature hound howl, she’s impossible not to love.

This sweet girl is potty trained, friendly with kids and other dogs, and enjoys being part of the family. She’s affectionate, social, and happiest when she’s near her people. Blossom also has a little bit of classic hound personality — if she thinks she’s being ignored, she may serenade you with an adorable howl to remind you she would appreciate some attention.

Blossom would love a home where she can relax, enjoy companionship, and soak up all the love she’s been waiting for.

ABOUT: BASSET HOUND DOG BREED

The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.
