Meet Luna – Your Low-Riding Best Friend
If you're looking for the perfect mix of charm, cuddles, and personality, Luna is ready to steal your heart. This 1-year-old, 45-pound basset hound mix is a certified “low rider” with an irresistibly cute look that turns heads wherever she goes.
Luna is as sweet as they come. She absolutely loves to cuddle and will happily burrow into blankets and cushions to create her own cozy little nest. Her favorite color is light blue (she wears it well!), and she's always up for relaxing close to her people. When she's not snuggled up, you'll find her happily chewing on her favorite toys or enjoying a well-earned treat—she's very food-motivated, which makes her both fun and easy to train.
Speaking of training, Luna has already completed six weeks of puppy school and knows her basics. She's housebroken, crate trained, and settles nicely in her crate when you leave—as long as you remember to pay her in treats. She rides great in the car, making her an excellent companion for road trips or errands. On walks, she does well on a leash and just needs a little polishing to be a perfect walking partner.
Luna has lovingly lived with children ages 4–10 and truly thrived in a family environment. She's gentle, playful, and social, getting along well with both people and other dogs. She truly shines in a home filled with love, activity, and companionship—exactly what she's used to and what she deserves. Luna was surrendered to us when one of her tiny humans developed allergies. A heartbreaking change for all. Luna is currently receiving all the love in her foster home to give her a similar environment until her forever home comes and scoops her up.
Bath time isn't her favorite activity (who can blame her?), but she's patient and cooperative when it counts.
Healthy, loving, well-trained, and full of personality, Luna really does have it all... except for a home.
Could that home be yours?
