He is now confident and assertive, talking/mumbling to communicate with his foster parents. While they don’t quite understand him, they suspect this silly boy is asking for yet another meal!Cooper is not only good looking but is also very smart and food motivated. His foster home is situated in a wooded area with birds and deer often visiting. From inside he’s watched his foster parents feed the animals and has often found an open door to get outside and join in on the feast.Cooper is a loving boy and will come to you for attention. He loves a good head scratch and will roll over for belly rubs. He enjoys spending time in the garden with his humans, exploring on his own yet never straying too far. He knows “sit” and “come” and will benefit from additional training with delicious treats handy. Cooper is very playful and often initiates play with the resident dog and even the cat, whom he sometimes chases. Cooper is potty trained and is learning to use a dog door when it is in place (at times, due to the wooded area).Cooper’s ideal family will have a flexible work schedule and another dog, preferably young adult, to match his playful demeanor.
