DESCRIPTION
Take a look at Gabrielle! Shee is about 4 months old (sept 1, 2026), and we expect her to mature to around 40 pounds. We didn't see Mom or Dad (shelter rescue), but our best guess is a Bassett/Schnauzer mix. Use your imagination! She is friendly and engaging, never meets a stranger, and loves other dogs (maybe too much!). She has endless enthusiasm and all the puppy charm you can ask for. She is plenty smart. Adopt er now and complete her housebreaking. Worth all the trouble!
ABOUT: BASSET HOUND DOG BREED
The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.
The schnauzer is a versatile and intelligent dog breed known for its distinctive beard and eyebrows. They come in three sizes - miniature, standard, and giant - each with their own unique personalities and characteristics. Schnauzers are loyal, playful, and make excellent family pets. They require regular grooming to maintain their wiry coat and love to be included in activities with their human companions. With proper training and socialization, schnauzers can thrive in various roles, from loving companion to skilled working dog.
