Hi, My name is Miss Piggy! I'm the best example of love and warmth in canine form! I'm as sweet as they come, offering affection to anyone fortunate enough to get to know me. I'm good with kids, other dogs, and even cats, although I do like to chase them sometimes in play. I get excited when I see the leash, and like to walk, but also like to just lay on the porch in the sunshine. I'm a good watch dog too and will let you know if someone is at our home. My foster says I'm a joy to be around and brags about what a great dog I am. I'm potty trained and kennel trained, although I'm such a good girl, that I don't have to stay in one often. My gentle nature, loving heart and sweet spirit made me a great Mom to my 7 puppies who have now been adopted, and will also make me a wonderful companion for all family members. Come meet me to experience the unconditional love and joy I have to offer.

My story... I was rescued after being dumped by the river in Angie with my 7 babies who were only a couple of weeks old. Their eyes were barely open and I was trying desperately to survive and keep them all safe.

If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with 15-20 of our adoptable dogs and puppies there.

Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. It usually takes 1-3 business days for processing. If pre-approved, you have first priority and can usually take home your new best friend the same day!

**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue in Mandeville, LA.
