I am quite the mixture, Doodle face and Basset body. I am 100% sweet. I am a bit timid with new people and new environments. It doesn’t take me long to warm up with a soft gentle voice of encouragement; I am willing to trust. I will require a physically fenced yard. I may do my best with someone with breed experience.
Pending a meet and greet, I should do well with another dog. I have not met cats at this time. I am recommended with children 10+ possibly older, pending observed interactions.
With time to decompress and adjust to my new family and environment, I will make a wonderful companion.
ABOUT: BASSET HOUND DOG BREED
The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.
The labradoodle is a popular crossbreed known for its friendly and sociable nature, making it an excellent family pet. This hybrid dog is a mix between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle, combining the intelligence of the Poodle with the outgoing personality of the Labrador. Labradoodles come in various sizes, colors, and coat types due to their mixed heritage. They are highly adaptable, easy to train, and known for their hypoallergenic fur, making them a favorite choice for allergy sufferers.
