DESCRIPTION
Meet Titan, an 8-month-old Basenji who weighs 24 lbs! He originally came from a breeder but was surrendered to us because he wouldn't leave the cats alone and wanted to play with them, although the cats didn't appreciate his eagerness. We would recommend supervision around cats. He's an affectionate, playful, friendly lapdog who's lived with 3 cats, whom he liked to pounce on playfully. He loves treat snacks, cuddling, tug-o-war, pets, roughhousing, chasing the cats, and playing with his toys. He walked okay for me and was kept outdoors because he chased the cats. He is house and kennel-trained and will pace when he needs to go outside. Come visit him today! ...
ABOUT: BASENJI DOG BREED
The Basenji is a small hunting dog known for its unique traits, including a highly distinctive yodel like sound instead of a typical bark, and the inability to bark like other dogs. Originating from Africa, these intelligent and curious dogs are independent, agile, and alert, making them excellent companions for active individuals or families with experience handling their assertive nature. Recognized for their clean habits and cat like grooming behavior, basenjis require regular exercise and mental stimulation to thrive in a loving home environment.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
