DESCRIPTION
Hi everyone! I’m Opal, a spunky, fun-loving girl with the biggest heart! I was rescued from an open-intake county shelter with my mom and siblings, and I’ve been taking the world by storm ever since. I’m a feisty, confident girl who’s not afraid to run with the big dogs - but don’t let that fool you, I still expect regular cuddles! I’m quickly blossoming into a roly-poly girl with a big personality.
Opal is one of our Gem Litter. Her mom is Diamond and she is a Basenji/Pit Bull mix. They came from Moreno Valley shelter.
Opal has one round of vaccines and is microchipped. If interested in adopting Opal, please go directly to our inquiry page here
The Basenji is a small hunting dog known for its unique traits, including a highly distinctive yodel like sound instead of a typical bark, and the inability to bark like other dogs. Originating from Africa, these intelligent and curious dogs are independent, agile, and alert, making them excellent companions for active individuals or families with experience handling their assertive nature. Recognized for their clean habits and cat like grooming behavior, basenjis require regular exercise and mental stimulation to thrive in a loving home environment.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
