Gamble, is a very sweet Basenji mix. They’re calling him a mix but he really does look like he’s pretty close to purebred it’s a sweet breed and he’s a good boy.

He’s a little bit anxious, but I guess if you’re in a house where you’re not wanted, it would make you anxious. He’s 10 years old very healthy. He got a thorough going over and got up-to-date on his vaccines and he’s heartworm negative.

Everything suggest that this dog has lots of good years ahead of him. He’s small. He only weighs 39 pounds so this is a dog that would be great for somebody looking for a friendly, smaller dog. He loves cats. He is fantastic with cats. He is housebroken and crate trained and really has no negatives other than just being a bit anxious but once he’s feeling safe and loved he will stop worrying.

The Basenji is a small hunting dog known for its unique traits, including a highly distinctive yodel like sound instead of a typical bark, and the inability to bark like other dogs. Originating from Africa, these intelligent and curious dogs are independent, agile, and alert, making them excellent companions for active individuals or families with experience handling their assertive nature.
