❤️Meet Stitch -- The Three-Legged Wonder Dog** ❤️

Stitch is a **1-year-old 38lb Australian Shepherd mix** with an incredible story and an even more incredible spirit.

Stitch was found on a rural back road after being hit by a vehicle. He had been lying there unable to get up for at least two days. Road workers moved him safely out of the roadway and gave him water, but he desperately needed help.

Thankfully, a Good Samaritan reached out--and Stitch finally got his chance. ❤️

His injuries were severe enough that one of his legs couldn't be saved, making Stitch a proud **tripod**.

But please don't tell Stitch he's supposed to be different. 😂

This boy **runs, plays, explores and keeps up with everyone else** like having three legs is the most normal thing in the world. If anything, he just has one less muddy paw to wipe! 🐾

And through his entire ordeal, Stitch wasn't alone. His best friend Leroy stayed by his side on that back road, refusing to leave him even when Stitch couldn't get up. Their story is an incredible reminder of just how loyal and loving dogs can be. ❤️

Today, Stitch is a **happy, healthy, social and loving young Aussie** who's ready for the best part of his story--the forever-home part.
