Fonzy - Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Valparaiso, Indiana

Meet Fonzy! Fonzy is a 2.5-year-old Aussie mix who may have some special needs, but he certainly doesn’t let that slow him down! Fonzy is deaf and partially blind, but he has learned to navigate the world using his other senses and is just as happy, playful, and full of life as any other dog. His favorite place to be is right by his people! Fonzy absolutely loves attention and would happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. He’s a fun, peppy guy who enjoys being around people and making the most of every day. Fonzy is overall manageable on a leash, although he can be a little jumpy at times. We haven’t introduced him to other dogs yet, so we’re still waiting to learn how he feels about having canine friends. Fonzy may experience the world a little differently, but that doesn’t stop him from being a happy, affectionate, and playful dog. All he needs is a family willing to understand his needs and give him the love he deserves.
