Please Consider Loving Me... My Name Is Rusty!

Hi, my name is Rusty, and I’m about 3 years old. All I really want is a family who will love me, be patient with me, and give me a place where I can finally feel safe.

My mommy and daddy weren’t taking very good care of me, so a kind relative stepped in and took me in for a while. I’m grateful he helped me, but he doesn’t have a yard where I can run and play, and he doesn’t have enough time to do my favorite things, like fetching balls and chasing frisbees.

I’m a super smart boy, but I have to be honest with you. I’ve been pushed around quite a bit over the last two months, and it’s made me nervous. I’m still learning that I can trust people and that not everyone is going to let me down.

But do you know what? A couple of treats, a little kindness, and I can easily become your best friend!

I just need someone who will give me a chance, let me settle in at my own pace, and show me what it feels like to be truly loved. I have so much potential, so much love to give, and so many games of fetch still waiting to be played!
