Cocoa is an approximately 4-month-old Shepherd mix (breed is our best guess) who was found wandering along the roadside with no owner ever coming forward to claim her. Now she's ready to leave that chapter behind and start the life every puppy deserves—with a family who will love her forever.

This gorgeous chocolate-colored girl is as sweet as her name suggests. Cocoa is playful, affectionate, and full of puppy curiosity. She loves making new friends, enjoys playing with other dogs, and is always ready for her next adventure. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

As a young Shepherd-type puppy, Cocoa is smart, active, and eager to learn. She'll thrive with a family committed to continuing her training, providing regular exercise, and helping her grow into a confident, well-mannered adult.

Cocoa can be vocal when she's excited or wants to tell you about something important, so she'd be happiest in a house rather than an apartment or other shared-wall living situation.
