Bear - Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in South Bend, Indiana

MEET BEAR!

Hi everyone! I'm Bear, a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix searching for my forever family!

I'm a sweet, affectionate, loyal boy with the most striking brown eyes and a little sassy side! I love kids, get along with cats and other dogs, and enjoy exploring the yard, sniffing everything in sight, and being close to my people.

A little about me:

I know sit and lay down, walk well on a leash, and did great for my bath!

I'm still learning house manners and occasionally mark indoors, but I respond well to correction. My foster mama thinks I may be new to living inside a home before, so I'm still figuring out all these house rules. Please be patient with me while I learn! I also keep my kennel exceptionally clean! I'm a very tidy gentleman

Chickens are a NO-GO! My foster mama calls them livestock; I call them walking chicken nuggets.

I can be protective of my food, so separate feeding in my kennel is recommended, especially around children and other pets.

I have a little sass! If I don't get my way, you might hear me howl about it.

One Last Thing....

Nobody knows my whole story, but my foster mama thinks I may have had a rough start. Despite that, I'm incredibly loving, trusting, and just want to be somebody's best friend.

I'm still learning, so all I ask for is a little patience, consistency, and lots of love. In return, I promise to be your loyal companion.

Could you be my forever person?

Love, Bear
