1243 Ruth - Australian Shepherd and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Ringwood, Illinois

Ruth is fostered in Ottumwa, IA.

Ruth is a young, gorgeous Labrador Retriever and Australian Shepherd mix. She is only 10 months old and weighing 55 lbs. She was born 1/26/20206. She was surrendered to rescue by a family that had no time for her. Ruth is a red merle and photos of her don't do her beauty justice.

Ruth his an active girl and would do best with another playful pup in the home. She plays a tad bit on the rough side but burns her energy at doggie daycare regularly. Ruth is great with dogs of all size. She is also good with cats and kids over 10 years of age, however, we were told she has lived with smaller children as well.

She is crate trained and house trained. She has had zero accidents in the home since coming into rescue. Ruth would do best in a home with someone willing to do some basic obedience with her. Ruth has a FANTASTIC personality and would be a wonderful asset to any active home.

Ruth is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations and receiving monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms. She does require a committed adopter who is willing to devote 1 - 2 hours of mental and physical stimulation per day.
