Meet Gunny the 6-7yo mini aussie!

Gunny lived a very rough life and his face/body show it. He came to us extremely underweight at only 11 pounds but is now up to 20! He has scars on his face including part of his lip missing- adding to the most adorable smile when he gets nervous.

He was only used outside for breeding his whole life and didn't know what the comforts of a real home were before coming to Dustin' Time Rescue. He is learning the perks and is opening up more each day. He was very clearly abused in his past and so can be nervous until he trusts you. Not a biter- but will avoid touch if he is scared. For this reason, younger children may be too much for him, but he's fine with older kids who can approach him calmly.

Gunny gets along well with most dogs and cats. If a dog shows aggressive behavior towards him, sometimes he will growl back. But he plays well in the pack here. Gunny does still mark new places and will need a consistent owner with patience to give him the chance he deserves to be a loved member of an amazing family.

Gunny is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed. He will be scheduled for a dental as well.
