Indie - Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in New York, New York

Age: 2 years
Size: 35 lbs
Good with: kids and dogs.

Indie was born in a rural shelter in Tennessee, held there for nearly a year due to an animal cruelty court case. At 11 months, she was finally released and spent a year in foster care learning how to trust the world.

Now 2 years old, Indie is ready to go to a forever home. She's still a little skittish outside, but is quickly acclimating to the busy streets of NYC. At home, she's a mellow couch-potato who's always ready for a snuggle fest. She loves all dogs, adjusts well to any play style, and tends to be more confident with another pup to show her the ropes.

Indie is fostered in Brooklyn, NY. She is available for local or out-of-state adoption as long as the adopter can travel to meet her. To adopt, please send us an application at https://bit.ly/rosr-adopt-foster.
