DESCRIPTION
Meet Lily!
Lily came to MAS as a stray, and was never claimed. She is an Australian Shepherd mix and is approximately 4 years old. She came to the shelter a bit barrel shaped, and is currently on her weight loss journey with proper measured feedings and exercise.
Lily gets super excited meeting new people and even does a cute little tippy-tap dance. She will immediately roll over for belly rubs when someone approaches her, and gives her paw to show she would like some cuddles.
Her leash manners are amazing, she loves going her walks and sniffing around. Her arch nemesis is box trucks on the road, she will charge at them but is easily redirected.
She is a proper lady and doesn't like impolite dogs, she prefers older, calmer dogs but slow introductions would be needed. She hasn't been kid tested but would probably do best in a home with older children (14+ years), and hasn't been cat tested either.
Lily is looking for someone who can help her get her beach body ready for this summer, if this sounds like you, please give the shelter (905-896-5864 option 3) a call to book and we will be happy to help.
