EMBER - Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Millerstown, Pennsylvania

Ember is a very beautiful girl. She came to be with us as her family was being transfer overseas and could not take her.
She is approx. 4 years of age. She weighs approx. 40lbs.
Ember is a sweet girl but is timid. She will need a fenced yard as she could be a flight risk do to her fear/being timid. Fast movements and noises spook her. You need to earn her trust and once you do her can not get close enough to you and wants to be by your side. She loves attention from those she trusts.
A home with active adults and older children would be ideal. Fast moving, rambunctious children is not recommended as she will spook. Respectiveful, calm children, dogs and cats are fine. She loves male and feel dogs of various sizes. The outdoors is her favorite. She will be a good hiking partner and a confident canine companion would be benenifical to her.
She is a counter surfer but response well to corrections. She will steal food left close to the edge if you are not watching. She will use the doggy door to go outside and do her business. She is smart and attentive once she knows you are a friend.
