Steve-o - Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Little Rock, Arkansas

I'm Steve-o, a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who's learning that the world is not as scary as I once though it was. I had a rough start and was found in the woods alone, scared and injured. Lucky for me, an amazing family found me and was so patient to give me space until I was ready to let them pet me and show me love. They got me to a vet, and even though I have lost a lot of hair on my tail end, I am healthy and trying my hardest to grow my hair back. I'm discovering that with patience and kindness, I can trust humans again. I'm a gentle, loyal, and smart boy who just needs space until I feel confident around new things. Every day I get a little more comfortable with my surroundings. Life is looking up for me, and I can't wait to see what the future holds. With each passing day, I feel more loved and secure. I am up to date on my vaccines, on a monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventive, and will soon be neutered and microchipped.
