Meet Rosie

If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who already knows how to be a wonderful dog, Rosie may be your girl! This beautiful Australian Shepherd mix is 5 years old and weighs 34 pounds.

Rosie came to Fur Fun Rescue after her previous owner was involved in a serious accident and could no longer care for her. While it was a difficult change for Rosie, she has shown us what a special girl she is.

Rosie is well trained, well mannered, and eager to please. She knows her basic commands, has good recall, and walks nicely on a leash. She is also housetrained. Rosie enjoys spending time outside, and a physically fenced yard is a must so she can safely enjoy one of her favorite things—being outdoors! On sunny days, you may find her happily rolling in the grass or standing with her nose in the air, taking in all the interesting scents around her.

Rosie would do best in a quieter home without lots of people coming and going. Her ideal situation would likely be with a single person who wants a loyal companion and is looking to form a special bond with their dog. Rosie gets along well with other dogs, but she would also be perfectly happy being the only dog in the home.

There is something wonderfully special about Rosie. She isn't looking for a busy, complicated life—she's looking for her person, a peaceful home, a fenced yard, and someone who will appreciate what a gem she is.

Rosie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, microchipped, and housetrained.
