Zephyr - Australian Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Eaton Rapids, Michigan

This beautiful girl is about a year old. She came to us from a local shelter. She was absolutely terrified when we first got her. It has taken a while for her to come out of her shell and show her true personality but she’s gaining more and more confidence every day. She absolutely loves playing with the other dogs and they have really helped her in becoming more socialized and confident.

Zephyr would do best in a home where the day-to-day routine is pretty consistent. She would do best in a calm, less chaotic environment. She’s still very fearful of any loud outside noises like the lawnmower or nearby firing range. However, when she’s out there with the other dogs, she’s very active and playful. and loves being outside. As transitions are difficult for her, she will need a calm and patient owner to help her settle into her new home. She would do best in a home with another dog and we would prefer a fenced yard. Zephyr also does well with cats.

Zephyr has been spayed, HW checked and is up-to-date on vaccinations. She is also current on flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
