DESCRIPTION
Harper is a 2-year-old female Aussie mix with energy to spare! This active girl is looking for a home that can keep her busy and engaged-she would love adventures, hikes, play sessions, training games, or even a dog sport.
Harper can be a bit nervous when meeting new people, so she'll do best with a patient family who will give her time to warm up and build confidence. Once she feels comfortable, she's a loyal and devoted companion who bonds closely with her people.
Harper can be selective of her canine friends so a meet and greet is required. However, Harper will need a cat-free home.
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD DOG BREED
The Australian Shepherd is a highly intelligent and energetic herding dog known for its loyalty and work ethic. Originating in the United States, despite its name, this breed is prized for its agility, trainability, and versatility in various dog sports and activities. Australian Shepherds have a distinctive medium length coat that comes in different colors, often with unique merle patterns. With proper training, socialization, and exercise, these dogs make excellent companions for active families and individuals seeking a devoted and playful four legged friend.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
