Meet Richie. Richie is a 2 yo neutered male Australian Shep mix. He is Approx 36 lb.

Richie is heartworm positive. Treatment has already begun and will continue when he arrives in MD on 8/22.
His treatment is covered by the rescue. He is not symptomatic so we expect an easy recovery.

Excellent on leash and is crate trained.

Richie enjoys playtime, but this boy is especially bright and calm and prefers engaging with his humans.

He has been very calm in new situations and great in the car. He does well with other dogs. His calm public behavior makes us think he will be a great family dog.
