Jessie is a 3-year-old Australian shepherd mix who’s always up for a good time. She’ll play until she drops, then recharge for her next adventure. Her plush-toy demolition skills? A solid 10/10.

She’s great with other dogs and would love an active canine buddy who can keep up. Jessie is usually the submissive one, but if another dog talks back, she may put a paw over their face as if to say, “Oh, stop it. You love me.” It usually works for her! She’s good with cats, too—though she sometimes forgets they don’t necessarily want to play like she does.

Jessie would thrive with a fenced yard, or with very active people who’ll bring her along for the fun. She also needs someone who enjoys giving her clever brain things to do. She will sleep in a crate, although she’d like it noted that this was not her idea.
